What’s up everybody just wanted to stop by and take the time to introduce y’all to a new footwear brand, STRAYE, we just started carrying here at the State Of Flux shop.
Founded in 2017 in Hollywood, CA, the skate-lifestyle brand is the latest venture from fellow skate icon Jamie Thomas and streetwear industry veteran Angel Cabada, who founded the Supra sneaker and KR3W apparel labels. BBC international also signed on as a 50-50 partner, overseeing functions as production and distribution, while Cabada focuses on the design and marketing for STRAYE. Cabada said he created STRAYE to fill a void for cool yet affordable skate shoes with an emphasis on comfort. While priding themselves on self expression Cabada quotes, “who we are today isn’t nearly as important as who we can become tomorrow.”
What I like most about this brand is that they feature hidden messages on the heel tabs, along with being a simple, good looking street shoe that won’t kill your pockets. Currently, we carry two different colors of their Logan - Flame (lowtop) as well as their Venice - FU (hightop), which range between only $60 and $65.
STRAYE also has a skate team which includes: Boo Johnson, Jamie Thomas, Antwuan Dixon, Dane Vaughn, Windsor James, Ben Norberg and Lem West.
